When the Alpina dual-track machines started to show up around the world, in the second half of the nineties, some people was not able to recognize the real size by just looking at pictures or catalogues. That leaded somebody to wrongly class the Alpina machines among the common “snowmobiles”, despite they are larger and with super-utility performances. But when the Sherpa 1.4 series has been released in 2001, this picture became quite popular, being a real tool of comparation between conventional snowmobiles and Alpina dual-track vehicles. Despite this picture is 23 yrs. old, we still love it so much, and we are grateful to our friends at Bike-Shop in Moscow for this historical and representative shot .
Dedicated to whom works in the snow, happy Worker’s Day!
